Result of the strokeplay competition
Nicole Birkelbach (Deutschland) is the Strokeplay World Champion 2025. The 43 year old from Velbert improved an start finish victory. A tthe end of the final round the spectatorscould see her fighting with her emotions, that she let run free after her final stroke. Maja Eigenmann (Switzerland) could manage the silver medal as she took over Lara Jehle on lane 15 in the final round. The Austrian took the bronce medal.
In the men's competition Tobias schwarz from Olching startet with the perfect round of 18 in the competition. He also did not let go the leadership. Behind him Beat Wartenweiler (Switzerland) and Sebastian Piekorz (Germany) were bettling for the silver medal. A hole in one at lane 17 made the difference for a german double victory.
