Result mixed pairs competition

An exciting Mixed Pairs competition has come to an end. After a fantastic combined round of 43 strokes of the swedish top pair Svensson / Kristiansson in the qualification round, the Italien pair Bandera / Porta managed to improve ther game in the final round (19 / 25) and took over the lead and the gold medal. The silver and the bronce medal go to Germany and were decided in an extension oaf the competition. After the 4 rounds both pairs scored 95 strokes and had to decide the medal colour by sudden death. The first lane decided the outcome through an ace from Lukas Neumann on lane 1 on the concrete course.
