It has been two years since we last gathered to compete in the World Championships.
We witnessed both new champions and former stars shine, delivering unforgettable moments.
Now, the time has finally come again, and we have been granted the great honor of gathering here in Neheim-Hüsten to once more compete for the most prestigious titles.
A tremendous amount of work has gone into preparing for these championships. The local community has, over the past few years, cared for and maintained the two facilities and the surrounding area. Dialogues with local politicians have led to solutions for numerous large and small challenges. The German federation has made demands and contributed to solving tasks, while also making an outstanding effort to encourage even more nations to participate.
Furthermore, the WMF’s Technical Committee has worked diligently to ensure that even the smallest details have been addressed, not least thanks to the incredibly competent team supporting the organization of these championships.
We must not forget all the other volunteers who have contributed along the way and are now doing their utmost to ensure that everyone has an unforgettable experience as the athletes give their all to achieve the best possible results.
From here, we wish everyone the very best!
