The competition facilities
Our minigolf facility is a so-called combination course, meaning it features two different course systems, each with 18 holes. It includes a concrete course of the classic Bongni system, built in 1965 and regularly renovated, as well as a miniature golf course, which was added to the area in 1997. Both systems are also open to the public.

Since 2011, there have also been two training lanes of the felt golf system, allowing club training on the internationally well-known and widely used system. These two training lanes feature various adjustable obstacles of different difficulty levels.
The facility is embedded in a natural environment and offers the perfect location for a relaxing outing with friends and family, as well as a competition venue for national and international major events in minigolf.
Historical matters:
The concrete minigolf course of MSK Neheim-Hüsten was built in the early 1960s by a private investor. After the club was founded in 1967, official play began. By the early 1980s, the desire for a dedicated club facility grew increasingly strong. In 1983, the opportunity arose to acquire the existing facility with the support of the city of Arnsberg from the previous owners. With significant personal contributions and financial investment, the minigolf course was redesigned to be more modern and visitor-friendly.
Just in time to host the German Championships in 1987, construction of the hospitality and clubhouse facilities was completed. In 1995, initial plans were made to build an Eternit-style course on the club grounds. The miniature golf course was completed in 1998.
In 2010, construction began on two felt golf lanes, which were completed in spring 2011. With interchangeable obstacles, they now serve as a training facility for all club members.
As part of the “Modern Sports Facilities 2022” funding program, the club was able to obtain grants for renovations. As a result, extensive work was carried out in 2021: the restrooms in the clubhouse were renovated, the roof was completely replaced, and a glass roof was installed over the felt golf lanes. In addition, the obstacles on the concrete course were renewed.
In preparation for the 2025 World Championships, a terrace for the greenhouse/tournament office was constructed. All 36 lanes were sanded and repainted, and ample space was created for spectators.
